Mobile business calling
I have learned a lot in all my years as a pastry chef and a business owner. From baking tips and new recipes, to business management essentials and communication tools, I have picked up a lot form my experiences. Here I share some of the things I was able to use for the success of my business, and for my growth as a pastry chef and business owner.
Mobile business calling
Everyone now takes their communications along with them. Through cell phones and laptops, everyone is now connected to everyone. As a business owner, I have to move from one place to another, talking to customers and business partners, and attending various events for chefs. I also take frequent trips to different shops to buy baking equipment and ingredients.
I rely heavily on my cell phone for all my communications, be it business or personal calls. Knowing that I can easily be reached, and that I can also easily reach other people, gives me peace of mind.
With call forwarding from RingCentral, I can easily take business calls from my cell phone. I just have to set call forwarding to automatically direct calls to my cell phone. I actually can take calls from any phone. In case I am out to a trip, I can also set a new landline number to take the calls to my RingCentral number. All I have to do is configure the call forwarding settings of my RingCentral account.
Another great thing about this is that I do not have to give out my personal phone numbers to my business contacts. RingCentral lets me keep my personal number private, since its call forwarding features let me receive business calls on any phone. Through caller ID, I can identify if a caller is a business contact who is calling my RingCentral number, or a family or friend calling my cell phone or home phone number. With RingCentral, I do not have to worry about missed business calls.
