No missed calls

Everyone is now constantly connected to the world. With the cell phone, there is almost no excuse for anyone to miss calls. However, missed calls cannot be avoided. This is one of the things that used to worry me. I do not want to miss important business calls. There can be times when callers would not be able to get through because of a busy signal, or if my phone is unattended.

All calls made to my RingCentral number are automatically answered by the auto-attendant. According to my chosen settings, the call is routed to different phones until it reaches me. If in case I am not available to answer the call, the call is finally sent to voicemail, where the caller can leave a message.

This works perfectly for me, since I can freely adjust the settings according to how I work. I can set answering rules according to time of day or day of week, so that I would only get calls to my cell phone during my work hours. Calls go straight to voicemail when I’m already home. This way, I can rest with peace of mind, knowing that I can attend to all calls as soon as I am available.
