Priorities, priorities
Everyone seems to be really busy now. From students to moms to people in the business like me, there just seems to be no rest. There are just so many things to do in so little time.
But of course, it’s not all about work. Setting my priorities means that I need to clearly separate my personal life from my business. With RingCentral, I can easily manage my time and prioritize my activities wisely.
Through call forwarding, all calls directed to my RingCentral number are forwarded to whatever phone I’m currently using. RingCentral has two call forwarding features, named FollowMe and FindMe. With FollowMe, the call placed will be directed from one phone number to another, according to the order I set, until the call goes to the number I am currently using. On the other hand, FindMe overrides the FollowMe settings, and instead routes the call to a single number that I am using. The FindMe feature is highly useful whenever I am out of town and using a temporary phone number.
With call forwarding, I do not need to give out my cell phone and home phone number to business contacts. Caller ID lets me identify an incoming call, so if I am resting or on a vacation, I can choose to send all RingCentral calls to voicemail, and just answer those that are made directly to my personal cell phone number. This is a very effective solution that helps me clearly set my priorities and give attention to all the important areas of my life.
